Nestled in the heart of a fir forest just outside Portland, Emilia and Nate’s wedding at Camp Colton, Oregon was a beautiful celebration of nature, simplicity, and elegance. The entire wedding design focused on creating a light, organic atmosphere — with floral arrangements that felt like they belonged to the forest itself.

For this wedding, we designed a full floral package:

  • A medium-sized bridal bouquet made with premium seasonal flowers: white Icelandic poppies, lisianthus, soft blue delphinium, Queen Anne’s lace, nigella, and trailing greenery like smilax and ivy. The bouquet was airy and natural, without looking overly arranged — perfect for a forest bride.
  • Three bridesmaid bouquets, crafted as smaller versions of the bridal bouquet. They echoed the same green-and-white palette with soft accent colors, complementing the setting and the dresses beautifully.
  • Six ground aisle arrangements, placed along the forest path where the ceremony took place. Each was made with seasonal greenery and delicate white blooms to create a whimsical, meadow-like feel. After the ceremony, they were repurposed for the reception decor.
  • Four boutonnieres, including one for the groom and three for the groomsmen. Each was a small floral accent with greenery and a touch of soft blue.
  • Centerpieces for 8 reception tables, featuring bud vases and Japanese-style Kenzans with asymmetrical, minimalist flower placements. These airy, floral moments made each table feel thoughtful yet unfussy.
  • Two large floral ground installations for the ceremony zone. Designed in a white-and-green palette, they blended into the forest floor with a natural, growing-from-the-ground look.

The color story was dominated by lush greenery and soft white blooms, with gentle touches of blue, pale pink, and buttery yellow. Our goal was to make the flowers feel like an extension of the forest — elegant, slightly wild, and always romantic.

This wedding was a great example of how much magic is possible with thoughtful floral choices. The whole day felt like a quiet walk in the woods — fresh, intimate, and full of emotion.
